What is a Biometric Passport

A biometric passport is the same as a traditional passport, but has a microprocessor chip within it, for a more secure, and free from fraud document – and this, developed around 2003. The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and its 188 member states have adopted this technology for a universal safer travel between nations.
