Woodblock prints provide inspiration for new Japanese passport design

An entirely new design of the Japanese Passport has been proposed and may roll out by 2019. Along with a new design, the updates are for security purposes and to prevent fraud. New rubber stamps may begin to be used as of May 18, 2016.
